General Motors on Thursday announced pricing for the 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, and confirmed that order books will open in mid-February.
The base 1LZ coupe starts at $174,995, while the 1LZ convertible costs $184,995 (all prices include a $1,695 destination charge). A 3LZ grade is also available, adding heated and cooled nappa leather seats (sport seats are also available on both grades), a front camera, a four-speaker Bose audio system, and additional driver aids. That raises the price to $185,995 for the coupe and $195,995 for the convertible.
2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
All ZR1 models have the same twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V-8, which produces 1,064 hp and 828 lb-ft of torque. It’s connected to a modified version of the 8-speed automatic transmission used in other C8 Corvettes, with power sent to the rear wheels only.
An $8,495 Carbon Fiber Aero Package adds a high-downforce rear wing, front dive planes, underbody strakes, and a front hood spoiler—together generating up to 1,200 pounds of downforce, Chevy claims. It’s also a prerequisite for the ZTK Performance Package, which equips the ZR1 with stiffer springs and magnetic damper calibration for track driving and near-slick Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires.
2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
The combination of the Carbon Fiber Aero Package and ZTK Performance Package unlocks the ZR1’s best quarter-mile time of 9.6 seconds and 0-60 mph time of 2.3 seconds—the latter a record for a production Corvette. The standard car will do 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds and run the quarter mile in 9.7 seconds, with a 152 mph trap speed that’s 2 mph quicker than the ZTK version, due to the drag penalty of that car’s aero addenda. Chevy has also clocked a 233-mph top speed for the ZR1.
The ZR1 will be assembled at the same Bowling Green, Kentucky, plant as other Corvette models. Production is scheduled to start in the second quarter of this year.
